The City of Folsom Environmental & Water Resources Department provides low-cost and reliable water and wastewater services to residents and businesses. We plan, manage, and implement water and wastewater Capital Improvement Projects and provide water conservation support to all city water customers.

Our staff manages water treatment, water quality, water meters, water conservation, utility maintenance, wastewater collections, engineering, and administration.

Our department’s mission is to manage the city's resources in order to protect and enhance the community's health, safety, and welfare; to provide effective and reliable service to city residents and businesses; and to provide support services to city departments.
