The Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) is a plan to make Folsom's roads safer for everyone. It was created with help from residents, city staff, public safety workers, and transportation experts. The goal is to reduce deaths and serious injuries from traffic accidents by focusing on problem areas, adding safety improvements, and encouraging safe driving.

The plan looks at data to find high-risk areas, study traffic patterns, and decide which safety upgrades are most needed. Some of the improvements include better infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists, adjusting traffic signal timing, clearer signs and road markings, and public awareness campaigns to promote safe driving.

The previous Local Road Safety Plan was adopted June 2021 and can be found here
