Sidewalk Inspection
The city is committed to provide safe pedestrian sidewalks throughout the city. The Sidewalk Inspection Program inspects, measures and documents sidewalk distresses and uplifts throughout a different Council District each year, with each district being inspected every five years. The results of the inspection and report are used to prioritize and budget for needed sidewalk repairs as necessary. The Public Works Department contracted with Precision Concrete Cutting to perform these services. In FY 2023-24 work was performed in Council District 2. In FY 2024-25 work will be performed in Council District 4. If you are aware of a sidewalk distress, please contact the Public Works Department at 916-461-6722 or report it on SeeClickFix Folsom.
